I was born in Carthage, TX, and lived in the small town of Beckville until the age of 10. I graduated from White Oak High School in 1989. I served in the Army Reserve and was called to active duty to serve in the Gulf War (Desert Shield/Desert Storm, 1990-1991). I earned my Associate degree in Chemistry, worked as a lab technician, and then became certified as a pharmacy technician. Will I worked as a pharmacy technician for 11 years, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2004 and Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University at Dallas, Texas in 2010. I became licensed in 2011 and interned with Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Counseling Center. I learned to apply a spiritual approach to my counseling approach by helping individuals and families work through their concerns. During my internship, I worked with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department to help incarcerated teens re-integrate into society. I obtained my full unrestricted license in June 2013. I have been in private practice since September of 2013, but I have worked with other organizations as well. I consider it a blessing to help others and hope that I may be able to assist you in your time of need.
